What is Camp LPO?
Camp LPO is LPO’s camp experience designed to bring our community together in a relaxed, supportive setting. It’s a chance to connect with other members, meet new families, and enjoy shared activities — with camp activities modified so that all campers can participate to the fullest.

How to register
- Open the Camp Maple Leaf registration portal.
- On the registration page, select “Session 6” (Camp LPO).
- Complete each registrant’s information and submit required forms (medical info, waivers, etc.).
- Review your confirmation details and keep your confirmation email for reference.
Q&A (Registration, fees, and logistics)
Yes! We will be picking the campers up and dropping them off from a convenient central location TBA.
Aside from the $200.00 deposit, we ask families to pay what they can afford up to the full amount of $900.00 (including the deposit).
LPO and The Tanamakoon Foundation will work with Camp Maple Leaf to subsidize the rest so that all children can go.
Yes!
Yes, we have a registered nurse on site who cares for all of your children’s medical needs.
From band-aids to medications, our nurse lives on-site 24/7.
2017 was the first year for Camp LPO and still is the first of its kind in Canada. However, the umbrella camp, Camp Maple Leaf, has been around since 1955.
It is an Ontario Camps Association accredited camp and the Camp Director, April Young, has been directing camps for children with special needs for over 20 years.
